The Village of Milford

Milford is a special place, located in the heart of beautiful Leatherstocking Country. The purpose of our website is to provide information about our village and government services.

Facts:

The Village was incorporated in 1890.
In 1922 George Wilber purchases the current Wilber Park and presents it to the Village.
Passenger service on the D&H between Cooperstown and Colliersville is discontinued in 1934.
In 1975 the Sayre House deeded to The Greater Milford Historical Association.
Deane Winsor retired from the 'Milford Macs' in 1991. The ballpark was named 'Deane Winsor Field' and the 'Macs' became the 'Otsego Macs'.
We are a community rich in history and preserving an optimum quality of life.
We have a population of 415 people in an area of approximately one-half square miles.
